I'm sorry, but I don't personally know what these could mean. I'm currently in the stage of learning what Wicca is all about. I did a search on the google search engine, and not much came up. The only information I could find is that meat should never be used as an offering (I'm very curious if this is true). To be honest, both sound kind of intense. It's not to say I think they are harmful or evil in any way for I truly don't know. One of my rules in life, however, is if I don't fully understand it, especially anything pertaining to spirituality, I don't mess around with it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help - hope you find the answers you're looking for ~ Coffee Goddess |

From what I know its that any offering would have an altar.. even with satanic rituals.. You have a center of power because an altar is a sacred space.. Hmmm.. |

A piece of meat? Personally, I'd guess it has something to do with sustenance and life--because dead meat only sustains life. As for the fire, that'd be like candles, but way too chaotic for *my* liking. I agree with what was said above, if you don't fully understand it, don't dabble in it. |

Hm, I'm not too sure either. I've read in several places that you're not suppose to use any type of meat as an offering. But I think that I also read somewhere else that you could use some meat, but I'm not too sure. |

I know, I am just informing myself.. usually sacrifices are done on a altar.. The closest thing I can think of right now is druid ritual because, chaotic magick does have an altar outside of a circle.. |

sacrifice of that nature is uncommon in mainstream pagan practice like wicca. ive never herd of it. but i have heard of a flaming pentagram being associated with satanism (i hate that.. symbolism theft just helps people persecute witches :-@). Possible too because of the meat sacrifice thats the closest association i can draw up. Definately not the sort of thing youd see at a samhain or belthane gathering tho, LOL. |

I'm a Druid, and it doesn't sound like a Druidic ritual. I would like to point out though that most of the sabbats Wiccans celebrate are in fact of Celtic/Druidic origin. The Pentegram sounds alot like a Satanic ritual, the meat would be the sacrafice. A rather convenient sacrafice seeing as the animal is already dead, lol. As far as the circle of fire. That actually does sound like a ritual made for Chaos magic, which I have studied a bit. Though those are just outlines of a ritual circle, the ritual itself would be whatever you want to make it. |
