I see you callin' on my phone
I was so happy to hear your voice
But what I should've known
Was that my world would soon fall apart
Why...was all I could say
I stumbled to the ground and begged you not to go
You said you couldn't take the fighting and the yelling anymore
I said I'm sorry it'll get better, I promise
You said I'm sorry but I can't go on like this
Before you hung up the phone you said "Don't worry I still love you"
"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me"
"I know you'll find better"
As I hung up the phone I sat there crying and wondering what I did wrong
I thought of all the times you cried in my arms and begged me not to go
I thought of all the places that we've been and how I can never hold you again
My life officially ended that night you called
But it's been a year since you broke my heart
And I'm still not over you
I think about you all the time
I see you in my dreams
I miss you once and a while
I see you on the street and you get that same look in your eyes
I know you'll never find another like me
I loved you with all I had
So now here I am...one year later
Still holdin' on to something I could never have back
It's 3 a.m....
But I dont see you callin on my phone....
