Halloween is the time of year,
when pumpkins smile,
in the cold fall air.
When ghosts come out,
to play and scare.
When monsters walk,
amoung the dead
Black cats sit,
on a wooden fence,
and wolves howl,
at the bright yellow moon
Witches stir,
a secret brew,
someone will drink it,
will be you ?
Spiders webs,
will be hung,
and when they come,
they never go home.
Scarecrows guard,
the corn fields at night,
will they have you
in their sight ?
Bon fires will burn,
with orange and red,
until everyone glows,
like a pumpkins head
The night will come,
to a scary end,
when you eat all your candy
with your friend.
Cackling and laughing,
until the break of dawn,
when Halloween is over,
and the Scary is gone
So you pack away,
all the tricks and treats,
until next October,
and another Halloween.
