I think we live in spider country....lol. I don't enjoy living with spiders though, so I spray for all critters regularly. |

I not only clean them off my ceilings, corners and everywhere else, but cleaning the hall ways, I find them EVERY WHERE...and it's DAILY. I don't think your spider population is in excess. They can respin a web in just a few hours, so it does feel like a losing battle, I know. USMOM |

This year has been a really bad one for spiders here to..I live in Texas. Spiders don't bother me much...but they bother my daughters and I get tired of hearing them scream my name so I can go kill yet another spider. We have wolf spiders, huge, harmless, yet scary looking things. Everyone around here says they have them bad to...wonder if that means something reguarding the weather? Probably not. |

I think that's what they are... brown, kinda fuzzy, rather large. Are you doing mosquito control for West Nile there, too? We're usually like the Amityville house in late July to mid-August. We've only had 3 flies in the house this year. |

Here in South Texas, the recluse spider is the most dangerous. You do not want to be bit by this guy. He actually rots the skin and goes deep in the bloodstream with his venemous poison. I regularly clean out closets and move furniture to expose these creatures and spray for them....My wife thinks I like to remodel like her.....shhh...don't tell her...hehe....rm |

I have noticed an increase of spiders only recently. My guess is because the weather is starting to get cooler. |

We have a ton too. I let a spider live in the screen door because it catches everything that would try to fly in. I suppose it would be easier just to buy screen huh? LOL I find a few in the house but my lord they are taking over the basement. I wont go down there! We have flies! It wouldnt be so bad if we had screens on ANY of the windows or doors *sighs* Every time a door is left open, another 15 flies fly in You know, Ive only been biten about 10 times by mosquitos this year. I call that good! |

The only mosquitos I've seen this year were at the USM picnic You can get adjustable screens at ACO, DMK. They're in the door hardware aisle, come in 2 sizes and run $4-5 each. I bought a couple at a time and we have all the windows that actually open screened now |

We have spiders everywhere! I live close to the woods and they think we welcome them...they are very wrong! O_O I have one spider I had to fight with in the bathroom and yeah I stepped on him. I think he is a brown recluse or wolf spider. If it is a wolf spider it was just a baby one. It has a fiddle shape on it's back so I am spooked a little. I put him in a container till I can find someone to tell what he is. If it is a recluse I will have to have someone come spray. |

We have them here too...wolf spiders, brown recluses, banana spiders...all different ones. The banana spiders I HATE!!! They spin HUGE webs in between trees overnight and I almost walk right through the webs and into the spider 8-O |

We had a banana spider living in the yard several years ago. He spun the coolest web in my raspberry bushes and hung out for a really long time. I have pictures of him somewhere |

I fight the spiders almost every day. I tried to make a truce with them, they could have the outside and I get the inside of the house. They didn't hold up their end of the bargin so it's been war ever since. |

We have alot of palmettos all over down here not just in our yard but like everywhere you look it seems. They spin their webs mostly between the palmetto bushes and yea you are right they are cool webs but if you have ever touched them they are not like most webs the web is so thin yet it is so unbelievably strong. But there is absolutely nothing worse then walking out to the busstop in the morning still half asleep and wlking straight into a spider web. If there is dew in the morning its not so bad but when it is dry outside you normally dont see them |

We have webs going up all the time. Im sure my wife knocks them down as soon as she sees them because she hates spiders. I once heard that we swallow a bunch ( I think in the thousands) of spiders in our sleep in a lifetime. |
