I’m calling to you
She didn’t believe me
I told her I was falling
I told her I was failing
She said I was yelling
But I don’t recall
Talking at all
A simple step and a simple fall
I looked her way
And I told her I was gone
She looked back and said so long
I wanted to cry, but refused to stay

I knew I was falling
I told myself
I’ve always been on this descent
An endless trip into nothing
I looked inside and said
It’s my time to fall
Back on my knees
Time to crawl
But I’m in the air
Falling…falling…falling
To nothing…
Nothing at all
