Ok, My girlfriend has warts on her hands, you know I don't mind them I mean theres realy nothing I can do about them. I'd love her even if she had them for the rest of her life. But she really don't like them, so I want to help her but not offend her. How do I do it. I want to refer her to a doctor or get the dr.schoals thing for her. But I want to do it without offending her. But how? - Mr.Nascar-

Date: 7/26/2005 7:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 16376    Well, if she has said she wants to get rid of them I don't think it would hurt her feelings if you tried to help her out with it. I would just say something like, "I know those have been annoying you, so maybe you should see a doctor about them." I really don't think it would offend her. It wouldn't me if I was in the same situation.
Date: 7/26/2005 7:48:00 PM  From Authorid: 33925    She has already expressed a dislike for the warts..Tell her how much you love her, but if they are making her truly unhappy you want to do whatever you can to help her so that she will feel better about herself. Make sure you let her know that they don't bother you, but it does bother you that it bothers her..Man that was a tongue twister..LOL
Date: 7/26/2005 8:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 28848    You said that she wants to get rid of them so I doubt if you try to help her that you will be offending her. She'll probably welcome the help.
Date: 7/26/2005 9:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 62849    If SHE brings it up, then suggest something. There's no way you can bring it up yourself without offending her. Women are tricky. I would know. I am one. LMAO. Good luck!! -Beags
Date: 7/26/2005 10:42:00 PM  From Authorid: 12709    Like Danielle said, if she said they're bothering her, you can say that's why you want to help her. You want her to be happy and feel better about herself. My stepsister has big ears that stick out, and they bother her. She asked me if she should get the surgery where they pin the ears back. I told her, "If it would make you feel better about YOURSELF, you should do it. Don't worry about what others think, do what makes YOU happy." She wasn't offended at all.. and I don't think your girlfriend would be, either. =)

Date: 7/27/2005 6:24:00 AM  From Authorid: 56489    I used to ave one on my right pointr finger years ago, it drove me nuts, but I have a good tolerance for pain, I kept cutting it off with nail clippers, it keept growing back until I dug down & got the root of it, never grew back again, LOL. I know it's gross but it worked for me.
Date: 7/27/2005 9:19:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 62163    Thanks guys, ya'll are a real help! Thanks beags, that was exactly what I was thinking. Magoo I will suggest that, as a matter of a fact all of ya'lls suggestions were good thanks. By the way maggo how long should she keep the duct tape on? - Mr.Nascar-
