If you are in a public buildiong then chances are they're testing the system. If you're at home, well, all appliances misfuction from time to time, it could be as simple as you needing to change the batteries. |

if there is no fire and it's been checked it should be ok, you dont need to worry, it's happened here where the fire alarms went off and it was just a minor wire issue what was fixed fairly easily |

They could just be testing the servers or something. If there isn't a fire, then I wouldn't be too worried about it. |

You have a point there, but You have to remember I live in a private place on private property, and how does the fire station test servers like that? I mean Wouldn't they call me? - Mr.Nascar- |

Sometimes they call. I worked in a nursing home & every night between 12:30 & 1:00, the phones would go dead, so the alarm servers could be checked. I'll never forget the night I was on the phone & it went dead on me, freaked me out. I thought someone cut the lines. I stayed in the corner of the kitchen, w/ a butter knife in my hand, lol. |

Well to let you know I'm still alive I'm here, it wasn't the batteries, because our don't have batteries, it probably a bug, our are very sensitive. So I had come in earlier that night from working on my truck, say around, 10:00. So I let in a flock of mosquitos. and I think they saw the light which is the only light in my room, and flew over to it and all into it and set it off. It was my room that was set off - Mr.Nascar - |
