I am kind of freaking out ..... SunAngel

For the past 6 months or so i have been feeling a bit weird on and off. Its almost like i feel like i am a bit off balance but only out one eye? It has only happened a few times but it has scared me.

And lately i have been having dizzy spells. For example, the other week i got a facial done and when i sat up out of the bed i was really dizzy and had to sit down in a chair and drink some water for a bit before i got myself together.

Then last nite when i was going for a run, i pushed myself a bit hard and for longer than i normally do and i became quite dizzy and almost had to sit down but instead i just kind of walked it out for a bit.

I am going to the doctors tonite and I am totally freaking out, that i have a brain tumour or something like that. My mum said i could have problems with my blood sugar levels or something and that explain these dizzy spells but whats with this feeling of "off balance"?

my heart is pounding as i am writing this. i am so scared that its something serious. well, i guess the step of finding this out is tonite, i have been putting off going to the doctors cause i've been having a bit of 'maybe if i ignore it, it will go away' but its just worrying me more and more

fingers crossed its nothing serious

sunny :(

Date: 6/27/2005 8:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 13297    It might also be your blood sugar or getting overheated. Both of those things affect me in the way you're discribing. Good idea, going to the doctor. I'm sure they will do bloodwork and rule out many possibilities... I hope it turns out well for you and isn't anything major.
Date: 6/27/2005 8:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 13297    Wow Beags, I didn't know that had a name. I've had that happen even to the point that my peripheral vision turns black and starts narrowing in - kind of like a curtain closing in. I have to shake my head for my vision to return. I'm going to google that condition
