First Dance Song for Your Wedding .... SunAngel

No guys, not engaged yet but i have a few weddings going on around me at the moment so wedding talk has been a major topic.

Last nite we were discussing first dance songs. I have always wanted that song by U2 "When All I Want is You" (i am not sure if thats the actual title, its in that movie 'Reality Bites'> as my first song.

But I have been listening to Jimmy Barnes a bit (I dont know if anyone non-Australian would know him - top artist!) and I really like the song "Stone Cold" that he sings. I think that would be a very close second on my first dance list.

Anyway - what was/is/will be your first dance wedding song??

sunny x

Date: 6/16/2005 5:45:00 PM  From Authorid: 28071    Sun, you are close on the name to the U2 track. The title is called, "All I want is you." I'd probably play, "I only have eyes for you", by Garfunkel, and it would be the first dance with only the bride and groom together on the floor without lights, except for a ballroom crystal. David/Fearfactor
Date: 6/16/2005 5:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 3688    IF we had, had a first dance it would have been "Thank you for loving me" by Bon Jovi
Date: 6/16/2005 6:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 3835    I am not really into country music.. but the first song played was, "Islands in the Stream", by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers. The words seem to fit the mood felt at that moment in time, so long ago. Lol.. We have divorced since then though.
