With all of the star-dust in her eyes
She stares into his face
As he sings the written words
With his own flawless grace
With all her mind she remembers
The past year that they spent
Together in spirit, together in trust
With all of their love firm in cement
With all of herself she listens
To the voice that once stole her away
She sways to the beat of the rhythm
With a prayer in her heart for just one more day
“With all that I am I miss you
I admit that I’ve made a mistake
I pushed you away and tried to pull you back
With my own stupidity, my own heart I did break
With all of my heart I love you
I never again will forget”
She turns and leaves the room
With nothing left but her silhouette
