Date: 2/17/2005 7:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 62881    I looked at DMK's link. I know that when I had Lasik surgery about 6 years ago I remember seeing what I thought looked like a sheet of plastic moving acros my eye. The machine makes the cut and the doctors lift the membrane away from the site that laser is to be applied to. Afterwards, I see the "plastic sheet" pulled back over and they uses a very soft brush to smooth out the wrinkles in the membrane. My eye felt like something was in it for a couple of days. I can't imagine putting something in there intentionally. I know it would aggravate the heck outta me! Green Eyed Froggy
