Date: 2/16/2005 3:28:00 PM From Authorid: 63041 The black one is awesome...and if you dont want to look like a Marilyn Monroe costume ...then try for that one. the other is just that...a replica of hers. I like the black. |
Date: 2/16/2005 3:43:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 54963 Thanx LSR! I was actually just looking at that one before I came back to check my replies. I might end up with both the black and the White. |
Date: 2/16/2005 4:34:00 PM From Authorid: 53052 that one reminds me very much of a "peasent" dress... see it alot on ebay not really my style more for the white version but on the right person they do look stunning |
Date: 2/16/2005 4:53:00 PM From Authorid: 13432 adswife-I don't think she wants the polyester type dresses. They are too stiff and unnatural. You probably have the right on the style and I thinks it's awesome you looked for her!! see if you can find something like cotton or something....lol I dunno what I'm talkin bout!! lol Have a marvelous day you guys!!! |
Date: 2/16/2005 5:03:00 PM From Authorid: 16916 It's pretty, but isn't Marylin Monroe's signature dress white? |

Date: 2/18/2005 7:40:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 54963 It's cool - don't worry. Thanx for all the links everyone! It is hard to find one that isn't from a costume shop, so I am not going to be extremely picky. If it looks real enough I think it may due. |
Date: 2/19/2005 5:56:00 AM From Authorid: 63068 I have seen the dresses on ebay....they look really nice as I am an ebay shopper myself! I say go for it not a bad price either last time I checked! The only thing is I bought one similar from a place called HolyClothing on there and I was very unhappy....it took 7 weeks to get to me after I paid and then when I did get it the trim fell off after wearing it 2 times...Jen |
Date: 2/19/2005 6:27:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 54963 Ohh . . .I'm sorry Jen. I hate when that happens. I always end up with mysteriouse holes in my outfits in between the store and my house. And I always check them over before I buy them too. I guess my vehicle hates what I buy!Lol! |
