While flipping through channels today I saw a Drew Barrymore (sp?) movie and she was driving in a car with some dude and she asked him "If you were going to die, would you want to know, or would you rather not?" This question is very interesting. and My answer would be no...what's yours, and why?. oh and i suppose another question that arrises would be, would you try to stop it?, or would you find trying to stop it would waste time to spend with your family and friends?

Date: 2/12/2005 12:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 12118    Yeah, I think I'd want to know, chiefly because I don't like surprises. And if was like a car accident or something, I could stay at home to prevent it from happening, lol.
Date: 2/12/2005 12:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 38406    I think I would like to know... so I could plan my life up to that date. I want to do so many things and I always wonder if I would be here to do them.
Date: 2/12/2005 12:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 62872    That question is a toughy I suppose in a way I would want to know that way I could spend the time I have left with family and friends BUT! in a way I would'nt because I would know and that would taint the time I spent and would only wind up hurting them worse!....Thunder Wolf
Date: 2/12/2005 12:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 35720    I don't wanna know.

Date: 2/12/2005 4:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 61946    I would not want to know, because If I knew I would just worry about it every minute that I had left and then I really would have wasted my last minutes that I could have spent happy, and with family.
Date: 2/12/2005 5:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 27583    i realy would like to know as there is not going to be a safty deposit box in my coffen so i would be able to help out as many in need as i had time to .. my wife feels the same way as i do about this. wooden nickel
Date: 2/12/2005 5:57:00 PM  From Authorid: 11348    You know that feeling you get when you know something bad is about to happen, and you are sooooo afraid? You may not know, but it has happened to me a few times. I know that I would not want to live my last moments or years or whatever it may be, feeling like that. I want my death to take me by surprise.
Date: 2/12/2005 6:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 7654    For myself yes I would want to know. But that would be as far as it would go. I would not want my family to know..I would like to know in order to get things ready so that my family would not have all that on them, death of a loved one is hard enough without having to deal with funerals.
Date: 2/12/2005 9:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 42945    I'd like to know for sure, so I could get everything in order and arrange things so my family dont have to worry about that part....hugs
Date: 2/13/2005 12:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 28946    no.
Date: 9/17/2006 10:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 48809    Yes, I would want to know when I am to pass over and I have already been told when this is to take place. Would I try to stop it? Of course not, death holds no terrors for me because I know we simply leave here and go someplace else. We have all told the angels when we made our contract with God while we were still in the other world what day we were going to be coming back and so no one can change what you have decided for ourself and not even God would change the date we have set for ourselves .... because that would be interfering into our free will and He will never do that. So whatever date we have chosen , we are pretty much stuck with... but not always!
