My BIG News.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. sk8r

NO I AM NOT PREGNANT!

Just had to start off by saying that.. lol.

Anyways... here we are in February already.. wow.. this year has started off quickly. Last month .. we decided to start redoing rooms of the house.. started with the kitchen... next time i think i will start with a less used room... my kitchen ended up torn apart for over a month.. it still is not all put back together... I did not realize how stressful having my house in such a shambles was.

Mid january , I found out that my dad was going to florida for 2 months... must be nice to just decide one day to pick up and leave for a two month vacation. They went down the the florida keys. So when they do go down they always invite the family to come visit.. every year i decline for one reason or another.. But this year.. i thought .. heck .. why not.. i have the money.. i took march break off to be with the kids.. why do my girls and I fly down? Well when i approached my father with this decision.. he did not seem too responsive to the idea.. and i decided that i was not going to take the first vacation that i have been on since i was a teenager.. with any ounce of guilt. He realized the way he came across to me and has apologized... he has a habit of talking before he thinks. Anyways... my husband knew how bummed i was.. and so he decided to take off march break as well.... and now WE ARE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!

I can't wait to tell my girls.. they are 7 years old now and are the perfect age to enjoy this trip. We decided to wait to tell them.. We are driving down , which is a 19 hour drive and my poor Emily has a nervous stomach. When she gets excited about something , she tends to vomit. So we decided that she will most likely be sick on the way down anyways.. and if we told her now that we were going , she would also be sick from now until we go in four weeks. My mother was like this as a child also.. and she thinks its best we wait to tell them. We thought about even loading the truck up the night before.. and then getting them up early early in the morning and telling them to get dressed cause we are going to Disney World. But I think they need a little time for it to sink in. They will want to know where Bruno (our Dog) is the day before. My mom wants to be here too when we tell them.. I think i will video tape it.

So.. that is my big news.. my hub and i have been married for 12 years this may.. and never once have we been on vacation. I think we are due.
