SUN - DRIED TOMATO SPREAD

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1/4 cup chopped drained oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes

1/4 teaspoon dried basil leaves

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper

8 ounces assorted crackers

In food processor, place all ingredients except crackers. Cover and process, using quick on-and-off motions, until well blended.

Place spread in serving bowl. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until serving. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before serving. Serve with crackers.

18 servings (1 tablespoon spread and 3 crackers each)
