They could be rebooting their servers. USM does it every morning about 1 a.m. their time. 3 a.m. my time. It gets weird. I would try again later. If that doesn't work. Clear your temp files and cookies and try logging in again. Reboot too. |

Well, u could need Java, for whatever reason... ummm.. you may just need to restore it to an earlier date. Do you have XP? If you do, just restore it back to when it was working for you. And if you have Windows 98, I would use the restore disc it came with. Or you may just need to put Windows 98 back over Windows 98. What the people said about deleting cookies, and rebooting could be the problem. I would reboot, and delete files, reboot again, and try. Maybe it could be your firewall, or your Anti Virus. Just trying to help. |

I am going to assume your using IE. open your browser and on the toolbar you will see "TOOLS" click that, scroll down to "INTERNET OPTIONS" click to open your browser settings. The second tab is labled "SECURITY" click on the button marked "CUSTOM LEVEL" make sure you have "ENABLE" checked for all the items next to ActiveX - Typo Demon |

Typo Demon, that opens to door to malware and active x controls that can mess up the computer. What browser do you have? Call the internet provider and keep bugging them. If they don't give up the information, first get some good anti-spyware and malware programs. Like I mentioned in the other post, consider switching to Mozilla Firefox. Run scans on the computer (these should be done regularly anyway). http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ , SpyBot Search & Destroy, Ad-aware, Spyware Blaster. Disable your active desktop (right click on the desktop > properties > desktop. |

Well, ive come to the conclusion that i need to just put the startup disk in and restore back to the way it was as new. Restoring to an earlier date didnt help either. Theres so much wrong with this thing. Unfortunately we have lost these discs so I ordered new ones yesterday. Ughh I just want all these glitches gone. It's a shared computer so that makes it hard for me too keep it in top shape. Hopefully she'll feel better soon. |
