In New Jersey, certain tickets are certain points and go on your record and you get insurance points on top of it which raises your insurance. Thats why I have to get the points lowered or dropped.  |

I'm bad for speeding! I need to watch myself. I went past a cop doing 60 once in a 35. I thought omg he's gonna come get me so I panicked and started going faster! I don't know if he ever turned around to come and find me but I know I made it home in like 5 minutes flat when it should have taken like 15 lmao.  |

Sorry Andrea for what happened to you.. Tonight the police must be in foul moods everywhere. I got a verbal warning for picking up my grandkids in a no parking zone. I wasn't parked, didn't get out of the car and wasn't there 3 minutes also the school bus parks that spot twice a day for at least 5 minutes.  |

You were going 13 over, there's no way he would have gotten away with giving you 'just a warning' or written down the ticket to something else. No matter how respectable you are....and I'm pretty sure most departments have done away with the 'quota' theories...  |

I've gotten away with it before and was just either given a warning or given a non point ticket. You'd be surprised what some of the cops do around here. Plus its who you know. |
