Feeling guilty

This is Jeset's niece. Under her name. Well I've been stupidly cutting for some time now. Maybe about 3 weeks. I started my new semester last week on tuesday. I haven't gone in at all. I have all my new classes and haven't went to any of them. I was going through some things and I couldn't find myself going to school, so being dumb I cut. I don't know whether or not to go back because I have no note or anything to give to the teachers so its an automatic failure. my mother doesn't know about it. I feel guilty lying to her telling her that i do go to school and all that. I don't know where to take it from here. If you guys have any ideas or suggestions or anything like that, please, it'll be appricated. Thank you.

Date: 2/10/2005 6:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 62100    Are you in college or high school, because if you are in college and have missed 3 weeks you are probably in serious jeopardy of getting deregistered or withdrawn..either way you should contact the school and see what you can do and definitely tell your mom..
Date: 2/10/2005 7:16:00 PM  From Authorid: 51070    Go in and think up a darn good excuse to tell your professors. Or, try to re-register if you are dropped. Lots of people drop out of classes anyway, so there might be spots left for you.
Date: 2/10/2005 8:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 16916    Hmm...if you are in highschool you should go back NOW while you still have a chance of passing..if you are in College you need to call and drop or withdrawl from your classes..I am in college now and if you try to go back now you wont make it. I am not trying to be pessimistic I am trying to be realistic..But if you don't withdrawl from your classes in college, you will get F's in all your classes and it will be harder to get into another college or get a good job. Good Luck and make sure you go back to school even if it's next semester *HUGS*
Date: 2/10/2005 10:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 47218    first thing, you have to tell your mom. Sure she is probably going to be mad, but she is going to find out one way or another and hun, believe me, it will be MUCH better coming from you. Secondly, you and your mother will have to set up a conference with the school-- I can't tell you how they handle these things-- perhaps you can take self-paced classes, perhaps summer school, perhaps there is an alternative school. You can't change the past-- the most you can do is learn from your mistakes and resolve not to repeat them.
Date: 2/10/2005 10:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 47218    tssh, I asumed you were in high school. As a college student, I would recommend that you check your school's schedule asap. It may not be too late to drop without penalty. If not so, I would go to each and every professor and discuss your problem with them. They may allow you to drop with some kind of penalty or no penalty at all. good luck. You will have to explain this to your mom, but you start fresh next semester, and an angry mom is much better than a bunch of failing grades on your transcript and an angry mom.
Date: 2/23/2005 10:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 19625    Go back!!!! It becomes compulsive, and it's real bad! My high-schoolness is all screwed up now because I skipped like 1 1/2 years... soooo, yeah, deffinatley go back. 3 weeks isn't that bad, 2 years is a little harder to fix! Erin-

Date: 11/15/2020 12:43:00 AM  From Authorid: 4231    Hey Jeset; I know this post is old however I hope that you made the right choice and went back to school. I'm sure by now your older and wiser and I am hopeful that everything worked out positively for you
