soon after first light the next morning, Gaavin and Debora thanked Allwin and Debeth and began the task of finding a home of their own for themselves and their boys. They didn't have go far when they found a small cottage for sale near the Nobleheart's home. Knocking on the door, a small old gnome opened the door and was quickly taken aback at the sight of the large barbarian and his Dark Elf wife. "Can I help you?" he muttered almost shaking. Gaavin spoke in his deep barbarian voice, "how much for this cottage?" "ummmmm its not for sale." was the reply from the gnome. Clearly annoyed now Gaavin picked up the gnome by his shirt collar and held up the for sale sign to his face. "am i mistaken, or does this sign say for sale? now how much?" While Gaavin was picking up the scared gnome, Debora began to cast a spell and called forth a servant of bones.

All the while, the twins were watching with amusement as their parents were "haggling" over the price for their new home. "OK OK OK!" screamed the old gnome, "yes its for sale, 1 thousand platinum and its yours!" Allwin and Debeth, hearing the screaming gnome came out and saw Gaavin holding this scared gnome in the air and Debora with a skeleton minion and Allwin looked at Debeth and couldn't help but laugh. Whispering in Debeth's ear, Debeth began to giggle as Allwin strolled over to the Linoge Family and freaked out gnome. Allwin began to cast a spell and turned into a black wolf and walked up to Gaavin and spoke, "Are you giving my friends a hard time Mr. gnome?" Now clearly on the verge of a breakdown, the gnome screamed at the wolf, "NO!!!!!!, I will sell this house to them, I swear its theirs 500 platinum and its theirs!" Allwin returned to Elf form and giggled to himself as he walked back to Debeth who was now laughing almost in hysterics.

Gaavin opened his coin bag and gave the scared gnome 500 platinum and the gnome handed Gaavin the ownership papers for the house and quickly ran off. As the months went by the Linoge's settled into their new home, Teric was clearly growing faster then his twin Drodon. Teric being a Barbarian like his father started to ask about why he was growing so much faster then his brother. "Well my son, even though you are twins, Drodon a is Dark Elf like your mother, their lives span hundred's of years and they age much slower then we do," but never forget this my son, Drodon is your brother, no matter what he does. He is your blood and you must stand by his side, and he will be by yours. you may save each others lives one day. Norrath is a harsh world my boy, and soon you must chose your path in life and train in that path. Your mother is having this talk right now with your brother right now, and he must also chose his path and begin his training also.

He may be smaller than you, but you are the same age and your training will begin soon. Debora in the other room was talking to Drodon about his coming choices in life. "my son, soon you must decide what you want to be. As a dark elf, you will be shunned in most places like I have been until I met your father, but you will not always have us around to protect you and you must chose what you want to do with your life and begin your training so that you will be ready for the world that awaits you." Drodon thinking for a moment looked at his mother and said, "mom, I want to be a healer. I know that people think we are evil people but I do not feel evil in you and I do not feel evil in me. I want to be heal those that need me." Debora smiled at her son with pride as she knew he understood that not all the dark elves were evil, herself included. "my son, you have chosen a noble choice and you have my blessing and I am sure your father will most certainly agree with me." "It just so happens that my sister Debeth is a healer and she can teach you all that you need to know without having to send you to Neriak and those evil guild masters. your Uncle Allwin, is also a healer of sorts being a druid. he has healing powers also and he can also teach you much, you will make us proud my son."
