I just went to the OBE section and was feeling motivated to help people trying to get OBEs and wrote a LONG LONG LONG post. I was getting ideas as I wrote, I didn't write a draft first or anything.. I took a long time to finish the post and when I click "submit" it took me to the log on page and I'm like "what??" I clicked "back" and all my stuff was gone! for some reason if I stay at one spot for a long time, I automatically get logged off. I know I could've clicked copy and then paste it back, but I just forgot.

too bad..it was some really helpful OBE opinions.

I msg'd admin about it, b/c I'd be submitting a post and it would take me to MSN's home page...but the admins never wrote back...but it eventually stopped doing it..... it was soo annoying! I hope you figure out whats causing it!
Date: 2/2/2005 9:29:00 AM  From Authorid: 18887    sorry to hear that, hope to figure out what you wrote, and re-write it...good luck
Date: 2/2/2005 9:29:00 AM  From Authorid: 46530    Bad luck on the post, but it didnt get deleted, you just lost it
Date: 2/2/2005 9:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 28946    It happens and i think it does it when system reboots. I'm sorry you lost your post and i bet it was a terrific one also. Can you remember most of it so that you can rewrite it, even though it won't bew the same as the original? Perhaps the new post will be better?
Date: 2/2/2005 9:36:00 AM  From Authorid: 59418    It's better to write your posts in wordpad or microsoft because If you are on the "create a story" page for too long, all your work is lost once you hit submit....
Date: 2/2/2005 9:38:00 AM  From Authorid: 44960    USM has a huge Cyber Monster Dumpster with a vicious appetite. Admins are in charge of keeping this Monster fed. The Monster Dumpster has been placed on a steady diet of unwanted post!! Looks like it was your time to feed this Nasty Monster!!! LOL (((PrissieHuggzz)))

Date: 2/2/2005 11:27:00 AM  From Authorid: 53961    I kick myself when I do that and hit Clear by mistake! Too late!
Date: 2/2/2005 11:29:00 AM  From Authorid: 53961    Sometimes when I am doing a birthday post that is taking me awhile, I will go ahead and submit it before it's done with a note saying "Under Construction" Check back later" and then add and resubmit it until it is finally done.
Date: 2/2/2005 11:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 27046    That's because your session timed out and it's a protective measure for you. If you click the box to save your password information you won't get logged out if you aren't navigating the site.
Date: 2/2/2005 12:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 38406    I'm so sorry. I hate it when that happens.

Date: 2/2/2005 1:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 16916    Yup. after you havent clicked on anything for a while USM logs you off. Try typing your post into word or another word processing program and then copying and pasting
Date: 2/2/2005 2:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 52155    Someone hasn't paid their $50 anti-deletion fee. You can send that right to me if you would like.
Date: 2/2/2005 5:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 28363    lol Eddo - i had that happen when i first started so i usually word pad semi long posts, so if something happens (like your example) then i would be able to re-post without to much hassle. Hope this helps
Date: 2/2/2005 6:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 62915    Word pad is the way to go for typing long posts. It really sucks when this happens. Happened to me twice before I realised I( needed to type it out in word first! There goes an hour of my life!! Ghost-chick
Date: 2/3/2005 2:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 62146    if you copied it you could post it now because the systeam jsut rebooted.
