They send out a form to teachers and the teachers nominate students based on leadership skills and academic accomplishments. After you're nominated by a teacher you get the letter, it's legit. I'm not sure about the college credits for a 6 to 10 day class though, some colleges may except them and some may not.  |

Its about 1,500, depending on wether your taking the 6 or 10 day classes. My grades are pretty good, I have a 3.5 right now.  |

I got one too, a couple of months ago. A couple of the things they had seemed pretty cool, like you could go to DC for a week and get to go see the sights and there was even one for the inauguration. But I live an hour from DC, so I didn't really see the point in spending money...  |
