Is a Job In My Future?

I've been living in a small town and going to college since August. Since August, I've been trying to find a job in a town where there isn't really any opportunity. The newspaper is filled with labor jobs like construction and truck driving. I am desperate. Our bills are piling up, my boyfriend's parents are giving me a hard time about not having a job and if I don't have a job soon, we'll be in the hole next month. So I would like to know if you see me having a job in the next month and what kind of job it will be? Will I like it? I'm starting to go crazy with worry.

Also, I am wondering how we have made it these past six months. We've been able to pay all our bills and still eat and it's not due to planning. We're both so upset about not having money that we dread figuring up how much we don't have. Do you think it's been some kind of luck? Is there someone watching out for me? I ask because this is how my whole life has been. It has been the same way for my mom. We will work really hard to get something, or move toward something, and everything will go wrong and we just want to give up.... and then all of a sudden it all works out perfectly. It's like we're being led blindly through a maze to get to the light and we have to go through a lot of darkness first. When we expect to be let down once again, everything is fine. I don't know if this makes sense or not, but my mom has always said there is someone watching over us and I wonder if that is true.
