Congrats on your baby. I just had a little boy on January 6th. I've been posting at babycenter.com since I found out I was pregnant in May. It's the best website I've found. As far as a baby shower I didn't have one so I can't really help you there. My advice to you is don't buy to many newborn stuff. My son has already grown out of his newborn diapers and newborn outfits. I would buy size 1 diapers and 0-3 month outfits. I would also suggest getting a co-sleeper. Some nights my baby will not go to sleep at all. If we put him in his crib he cries and cries. But once we put him in his co-sleeper he just lays there looking at us.
