The Legend of the Cheesewring ... ~ SpaceCase

Said the giant to the Saint,
"Just who do you think you are?"
Said the Saint to the giant,
"I'm a voice from afar."

Said the giant to the Saint,
"You're changing up our land,"
Said the Saint to the giant,
"It's of the Master's Hand."

So they set a challenge
A battle of strength and might
Hurling boulders in a stack
A truly awesome sight

If the Saint won the game
The giants would convert
And if by chance the giants won
The Saints must all desert

And so the giant hurled first
And far his boulder went
The saint's rock landed on his
With help of angels, Heaven sent

And it went on, stone after stone
Until the giant did tire
The Saint hurled one last stone
Which made the stack grow higher

With that the giant gave in
He knew this game he would not win
So he reluctantly repented his sins
And would never bet a Saint again

Based on the story of the Cheesewring stone monument in the UK...look up the pic..it's really cool. I hope you like these, because I'm trying something different, for a change...gone to Merry England, virtually, and have come back inspired :D
