If you live where I do..You can expect help in a hour or more. If your being beaten, robbed..etc...You must defend yourself because noone will be comeing. |

Here in Ontario. The ambulance, fire, or police have 4 minutes to get to the scene of an accident. I don't know what it is in the States. |

...and if you do get the ambulance, don't let them take you to our local hospital!! |

you're lucky to see an officer here when you need him, much less the ambulance. |

That's great help got there so soon..where I am if you need the police you'll be waiting for a while....so you're on your own until then....As for the ambulance probably about 7-10 minutes since a new station was put in at a near by town... |

Here, I don't remember when, because I just found out, but two weeks ago I think, there was a fire in the apartment building RIGHT across the street from me. Fire trucks, police, everything was there in under 10 minutes. It was amazing. |

Thats great that someone helped right away. The couple of times I was stopped on the side of the road with car troubles not one person stopped to help. I had to walk to the nearst home and beg them to let me use their phone to call for a ride. In both times a cop drove by but never stopped. Since them I have no respect for them. |

There's actually about 3 fire/emt stations in about 2 miles of my house, but it'd probably take them about 20 minutes to get here because there's way too much traffic unless it's three in the morning. |
