I do agree though like those morons protesting gay marriage and I seen a sign that said 'obey the bible'...umm okay u can obey it all you want but it CANT be law! How would they feel if some other religions holy book was law and their religion was running the place? They wouldnt like it LOL! You have a nice post here, its what the World believes anymore. So the world will love it. Christians wont, but the World will. Its true, us Christians tend to over react, but you know, its only because we love our God. And we dont always bash other religions, we say there are incorrect, but it doesnt mean we are bashing them. God is wonderful, and he is true. Other Religions will slander the Christian faith as well. Spiritualist will, Islam will, Hinduism will, and so on and so forth. God bless u, and thanks for posting such a worldy post.  |

Sure Christians try to correct something when a post is brought up, if their beliefs are differernt , as each different religiouse party tries to get their *truths* in there. However its not any different then a christian putting up a post and everyone else trying to *correct* their beliefs. To the christian faith, yes, I guess in some ways we would say were persected by the non beleiver as we get called everything from Liars to stupid. I mean lets not debate the facts of the religion or something like that, just call us stupid. That works for them. And yes, In our faith, we beleive that those that are not believers in God are under the authority of satan, plain and simple.  |

WEll base never said it sounded better. But so many christians sugar coat what God has to say. But according to HIS word, We were born under the authority of satan, ALL of us. But that this is why Jesus came, so that we can ONCE again make a choice of whose authority we wished to be under. I choose to be under the authority of God. Now sure there are those that dont beleive in satan, or hell, or even the bible as the word of God, but I figure thats their problem not mine. Because I do beleive in God, therefore I need to beleive in what He says. Now if I were of a differernt religion, Im sure it would be the same thing, as some beleive the USA is the great satan and dont mind calling us that. Some believe that you shouldnt go to doctors , or have birthdays or holiday, even some beleive they are going to this great planet called Kolob and have spritiual babies the rest of their lives. NOW if a Christian of another denomination tells me that, of course I'm going to use the bible as refference and tell them where I think they are wrong. Just as they will and have done to me. Besides I'm thinking if a person doesnt beleive in hell or satan, then I can't see how they can or should be offended. |

YET in her comment above she says, Those MORONs protesting gay marriages. So see what I mean, with attitudes like that is it any wonder we say some of the things we say, which to us are FACTS of our religion. Just for the record kaja, the bible does say in the end times there will be a one world religion and it wont be Christian, so yes, we will have that also. I guess its not much different. However We usually try to avoid saying that because it does tiss people off.But it still doesnt stop some. I guess its as my grandma would say, six of one and half a dozen of the other, as what goes around comes around. Christianity is one of the largest at this time, but if you look around you, anything to do with christianity is slowly trying to be stifled out of all walks of life. I have to cook supper so dont have time to go into all of it right now, but will try to get back to this post after supper. Yes, there are some that do believe they eat babies. I'll give you that. If a believer in God would state they do not believe in homosexuality, then that is an opinion which they are entitled to, but if this believer would state things such as "Those who are homosexuals are morons and idiots and they will burn in h*ll", then that is bashing. Bashing is not using a belief system in an attempt to show error, but bashing is when one condemns someone in a rude and uncaring manner. Kaja, My point really was to show the difference in "bashing" and in giving opinions based on beliefs. Too many times some seem to think they are being "bashed" when all the other person is doing is stating their honest opinion based on their beliefs. Base, I rest my case, it really is just a classic example of how intolerant people are of the Christian faith. One of the replies I left were the words of Jesus Christ, who was God in the flesh 2000 yrs. ago. The religious and non-religious at the time hated Christ so much they sentenced Him to death, he commited no crime, He warned of the coming judgement and how to be saved, people did not want to listen, 2000 years later, I reply with a statement made from Christ and it gets deleated.. Crazy queen makes statements like "way BUT not all Christians do so please remember some Christians are good people ! Kaja, to me that has been around you and knows you better, of course I know about teasing but to those that dont know you, it looks kind of bad. I know your not one that bashes them, but by reading your comments other wouldnt know that. Just as those that dont know me reads some of my comments and thinks that I'm totally fanatical. BASE:: Most people think because differnt signs pop up that the end is right now, in the next day or so, or year or so. I do beleive were in the beginning of sorrows, how long it last no one can really know. No stifling has not stopped its growth so far, but it will in time. God says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. So if the faith isnt being heard in anything, no gospel songs, no pledge, no ten commandements, then lots of could or would be christians are not moved by any faith, cause its not going to be found. It's also true of any other groups that have strong beliefs in a subject..There are always going to be the ones to spread the truth, the one's that just follow, and the one's that Take things too far. Islam claims to be the fastest growing but then so does the Church of Scientology, but government statistics puts Christianity as the largest and fastest growing. It's not growing as fast as it once did in the US and Europe but that's also because of declining birthrates. The number given for Christianity in 2025 at this growth rate will be 2.6 billion and Islam at only 1.7 so while in European countries it's not increasing as fast, it is in other countries especially Asia, South America and Africa. |

Firstborn I realized (on my ride home LOL so forgive my lateness) that my reply may come off as saying 'Christians' specifically are ignorant. NO thats not what I meant! I meant ANYONE who feels the need based on one source (whatever it may be and yes this goes for people who support homosexuality too) to opress or speak out or whatever against or for something. ANYTHING ANYONE! Trust me there are ignorant Wiccans who can sit there and bash Christians, theres ignorant people of no faith who read one thing about Bush/Kerry and decide to vote for them, etc etc... Ms. Morality yes Im Wiccan and no I dont feel it is against nature (btw we dont worship nature really we worship the gods and respect nature and in some patheons a goddess is earth so yes in that case a person would...) by MY REASONING in the WICCAN BELIEF (so this is MY belief not nessacerily an all out Wicca one and it is a BELIEF note that) homosexuality isnt a choice: since we reincarnate to learn certain lessons in life that just may well be a lesson (not to say everyone goes through it though.) I PERSONALLY believe some souls have more female engery and male energy then others i.e. our souls have a sex so a womans soul could be born in a mans body etc... But its a belief Im not going to debate it also this post isnt about Homosexuality so Im not gonna keep discussing it. Anyways I know Christians (LOL a good 99% ) don't believe in reincarnation thats why I stated it as MY belief. Hi Base. I read that the true definition of a Christian is a person that believes that Jesus was the son of God and that they believe in Jesus's teachings. Somebody, somewhere, some belief, is going to oppress someone else and their belief. No good reason except they want to play "king of the mountain" and make out like they are better.
