As you know im a pretty good songwriter, some of my poems are on usm and have got good responses. My one poem "send me up the river" got some attention by a local woman who puts lyrics to music. And I would love to have it sent out on country radio. I also made a concept album all about highschool and wrote all the songs myself. I got 15 songs for that. Writing doesnt bother me, cuz i can write really good and it comes from the heart. My fear is that making the album, and promoting it. I would love to be a performer, but then there are people who arent stage material, or people hate em. Like ashlee or jessica simpson and brittany spears just cuz they cant sing and all wrong for the business. But i know there will always be critics. Well Garth Brooks and George Strait and most major stars got turnt down for one reason or another, but have become superstars in their own right. Im just afraid that maybe ill forget some words to a song, or worse forget all the lyrics to every song. And no i dont believe in lyp synching or have back up tapes. But then again I havent really performed, i did sing most of Garth Brooks songs in homeroom though. But i was kareoking to it. I have confidence in my song quality but not the performence.

! Anyways I can sympathize: I write lyrics, I sing, no music writting (Im gettin some help though), and Im scared of the stage! Ugh Im still tryin to overcome this one (plus the general fear of singing) so I guess Im not much help but as I try to tell myself: have faith in yourself...
