The darkness surrounds Evil lurks in the shadows Unspeakable terror Scratching, Clawing Trying to escape Fear courses through my soul As the horror grows stronger, I grow weaker. Voices clamour in my head; Painfully clear visions, Fire, torture, death. This thing, this demon It wants me, Needs to feel my fear And feed on my energies. Panic sets forth. Night after sleepless night. Don't turn out the light, For it needs darkness to breathe To come alive. To stare at me With beady little eyes . And an evil smile Half playful grin Half deadly smirk. Don't laugh at me Don't call me crazy But I am tempted. To taste of the dark side And be seduced By the bitter sweet taste. And I'm afraid. Afraid I might like it.
So, OK, there is something in my house...I don't know what it is. But this is the poem I wrote about it.
