It's crazy! it is going to be 70 here in southern Missouri today. We still haven't seen snow yet this winter. That is unusual. We are supposed to stay warm through next Thursday which is supposed to be 45. ( I have to admit, I love it! ) |

It's been strange here too. Last week the high was in the 20's and the lows in the single digits=teens. This week it is in the 70's. I just wish the weather would make up it's mind, it's driving my sinuses crazy. |

Um the weather you are having is not from what happened in Asia. I live on the boarder of WI and IL and they have been calling for this warm rainy weather for over a week, before the Asia thing happened. It has to do will El Nino. Either way I am enjoying the 50 degrees in December and January!!! |

well lets see.... Parts of Florida and Gulfport Mississippi had snow on Christmas and I live in western NC where we should have snow, but instead we are having temps in the 60's and might hit 70 this week. Vegas strip is flooding and California is having storms with tornados, and Mexico even got snow! so yes the weather is very messed up, very messed up indeed. Think the Gods are trying to tell us something? |

i agree storm chaser LOL trying to tell us something...:P El Nino Sunni, is the same as the earthquake. cause and effect in everything basicaly. I mean, things led upto the earthquake as far as the atmosphere-ic wise and the earthquake was just part of it. LOL And its continueing. LOL I am not saying the weather is from the earthquake, but I AM saying the weather we are getting is not normal. And also, tides effect weather, so we could be *COULD BE* seeing a partial effect from the tsunami and tides and all that. LOL Im gonna go ask my meteorologist buddy about this....:P see what they have to say, and i'll post back about it. |

Here in New Mexico we also had rain, and today it's warm and sunny. You've never seen bad drivers until you've been in NM during a snowstorm! They seem to drive even faster, and then they say, "Wow, ice makes you slip! Whoever heard of slippery ice?" |

I'm not too far from you and PB, Crystal Lake. It's great to be wearing my spring jacket to work, or just a sweater. Maybe we will get some snow in August! |

Ok I am sorry I stand corrected! I am having a very very blonde day. I thought you meant the weather was a direct effect of the earthquake and stuff. I just need to go home and lie down and not think!! Anyways I love that it is warm in December!! I went out to smoke with out a coat!!! Gotta love it!! |

Ok well folks it looks like the tides do effect weather, causes winds, which effect the jet stream which effects where the weather goes. LOL and I was told that we may *MAY* be experiencing some warm temps because of the Tsunami and the effects of the tide, but, this actually has been an ongoing issue. Apparently the earth may be shifting more than what we the people are told and the seasons could be changing as to when they are expected and direct temps. Anyways, thaks all, and Sunni, no worries...:P You can just come over and kick my butt or tell Pinky to and you can get your revenge that way...LMBO. |
