Premonition or coincidence

I know i posted the twice (dreams and dream interpretations) but i also want it to be interperated. Note: things that seemed stressed (to me) in my dreams were the chains on the tree (definitly), the fact that the earthquake came before the flood, me not knowing anyone, how randomly people were running around, the fact that each dream had natural disater topic in it. 1st one being tons of water, 2nd one earthquake and then the coming of the water. Me being in the house as it completely flipped over but then it was completely fine when i saw it from the outside.

Dreams:

This morning I woke up like usual but I remembered 2 dreams. The first one is vague in length but very detailed. (First one) I remember being in a very small room. It was empty except for some random furniture (wooden). The room reminded me a lot of the one room we have in my basement except outside of the room there was a long hallway perpendicular to the doorway of the room. It reminds me of the titanic as it was sinking because the floor was just completely flooded with water. I tossed some heavy (supposedly water proof boots) on and exited the room through the doorway that did not have a door connected to it. From there I went looking for someone but I kept staring at all the water and the dream just ended with me standing there. Vague right.

I remember more of the second dream because well, duh it was the second one, which is always (for me) easier to remember. I forget how it began but I remember being in my house and there were many people around me saying get out get out and then suddenly I felt like I was in a giant empty square and the house (or should I say large square) which I was in began to tumble to my right. I slammed into the wall and from there I was suddenly outside in my drive way but there were no cars in it at all and the fence gate was open. There were people randomly everywhere screaming and yelling earthquake. I did not know what to do and then someone came over to me and said hurry we have to get to higher ground the flood is coming. As I began to speed up towards my backyard I realized that my house was still in the same spot it was but that could not be if it had rolled over while I was in it. Also it was my house before we added the addition to it. And the grill was still there. (That is how I knew it was before the addition) I finally got to the backyard and there were a ton of heavy chains on my tree. (Yeah we have a tree in the backyard. it is really big and tall too.) Except in my dream it was a lot taller than normal. There were about 10 people (I guess) that were piling things on top of each other to get higher into the tree. (I should mention that it was almost completely unstable but somehow it still stood as people were climbing up on it) I just stood there not knowing what to do. I even climbed up it some what (I looked down and the distance was really far between me and the ground) but then someone stated that it should be tested on the garage roof which was closer to the ground. I saw people piling things on top of each other to get onto the garage roof and my dream just faded.

The point of the title being premonition or coincidence is the fact that on the news today (computer news on the home page of msn.) I saw "Tidal Waves Kill Thousands Across Asia caused by a 9.0-magnitude earthquake, strongest in 40 years and fourth-largest in a century." It happened the night of my dream. Does it not just seem so odd that both my dream topics the 1st one being floods of water and the second one the earthquake and then the running away from a flood (which by the way the dream ended before and water came in that dream). I mean, it is just one of those things that just sticks out as creepy. It just really bugs me. The calling out of an earthquake and then the calling out of a flood (in my second dream)

I would really like some input. Please help.
