OMG! I am usually dissapointed because i don't get what I want on Christmas (I know thats bad but...) But this year was amazing! I picked out all of my own presents (I'm 18 but my mom still buys us all a million presents) And thats definielty not the only reason this christmas was so amazing. This year I have my own Internet business so I had TONS Of money to buy everyone in my family amazing Gifts! And I have a HUGE Family, We're a very stereotypical Catholic/Irish/Native american family. Over 20 first cousins, 20 aunts and uncles, grandma, like 5 great aunts and uncles, cousins boyfriends and Fiances, family friends. We are all Close like Siblings and There is So Much Love. (and Homecooked food.....mmmmm) Anyway. First I opened my presents here at home, this is what I got:

Electric Guitar (That doesn't work 100% so I gotta get it fixed..bummer) Chocolate Fondue Kit!! (I made some SWEET Candy for my boyfriends family) Need 4 Speed Underground 2 (Video Game) Chuck Taylor Converse Allstars (FINALLY some sweet vegan sneaks) "Vegans Have Good Karma" Tee-Shirt "I Don't Eat Your Kids" Tee-Shirt (with cows on it) "Tree-Hugger" Tee-Shirt (made to look like the green "John Deer" shirts Tiny 14KT Gold Lady Of Guadalupe Necklace (Virgin Mary) Abercrombie & Fitch Khaki Twill Pants Neopolean Dynamite DVD (Funniest Movie!) DVD Player 20 DIFFERENT COLOR SHARPIE MARKERS!!! (I LOVE SHARPIES!! i got Pastel, Metallic, ALL COLORS THEY MAKE!!! normal AND retractable!! I AM PUMPED!!!) A BowFlex!!!!! A Video game controller you plug into the tv and it already has games on it. An Expensive Purse TOns of deodarant, undies, candies, chapsticks, shaving cream, etc, etc

THEN we went over to my grandmas house and met up with all WHOLE Family. We Got My Grandma:

Sewing Cabinet for her sewing machine ($239!) Brown Dooney & Bourke Handbag ($170) 20" Flat Screen Television ($???)

She Started Crying she was so Happy!

I Bought My Mother:

Purple Nurse Uniform (From the expensive nurse store she always goes in and admires but would never pay that much. My grandma makes hers or she gets them at walmart) Brand New GameBoy Advance (She really likes Video games for some reason, Probably cause shes the Flyest Chick Around) 4 Gameboy Video Games: Mario Cart Super Circuit Castlevania Donkey Kong DonKey Kong Country (She only likes oldschool games from when me and my brothers were young) I Got her a PETA Membership because she recently became a vegetarian like me and my brother and boyfriend (Whom I also Bought Peta memberships for) A New Iron from BestBuy (Because the other day when I plugged ours in It Burst into Flames!!!) And She bought herself a Diamond Ring. (she works 3 full time LPN jobs to pay for my brothers college tuition, both are in college, So I get really happy when she splurges on herself because she never ever buys herself anything nice) My grandmother Got her a Brand New Electric Blanket and a Brand New FULL Queen Sized Bed Set. hmm........thats it i think

I bought my Dad some new sneaks from foot locker

I got my cousins $25

I got my Brother Nick a $50 Gift Card to American Eagle

I Bought my Brother Chris a Rotisserie (spelling??)

I Bought my Boyfriend Frontz: A Fossil Wallet with an ID holder and Keychain A Lynyrd Skynyrd Tee-Shirt (I bought myself one to match(one of my fav bands) A Led Zeppelin Tee-Shirt (His all time fav band) A $160 Gift Card to Best Buy (So he could pick out his own Satillite Radio) An Abercrombie Tee that says "I feel like a giant today" with the Green Giant on it, Because he is like 6'3" , he is SO Big! Not Fat, Just really tall and Musclular. A Peta Membership (includes discounts on clothing, Awesome magazine Subscriptions) I got his parents a Deep Fryer His Sister (age 13) an aroma therapy set with little claire accessories His older brother (26) a Gillette Mens Shaving Gift Set His Sister In Law a Dove Gift Set (shampoo, shower puff, body wash, etc) And I haven't recieved his families presents to me yet (wednesday)

HE GOT ME:

A 27" Flat Screen Television!!! (OMG I WAS SPEECHLESS) A Dvd Player A Teddy Bear A Nice Shaver with A whole box of Cartiges ($$) TWO bottles of shaving cream!! (at my house I use desposable shavers and shampoo!!, So this is like Lux-Ur-Y!!!) A Manicure Set Excendrine Tension Headache Medicine!!! (the big bottle)(I always get headaches and never have headache medicine, He knows exactly what i need, like, want!!!) And I wanted to buy a Playstation 2 but they are sold out everywhere!! So he let me borrow his, Which wouldn't normally be THAT big of a deal, But he lives an hour away so he can't come and get it back until his next trip to my town (Which is usually 7 days apart, but luckily for him we are going to a PETA Protest on Wednesday so he'll get it back then)

OH AND GET THIS.........

HE CLEANED MY ROOM!!!! Thats Love! haha, My room SERIOUSLY looked like a war zone. you could not see the carpet! He took EVERYTHING out of my room, Vacuumed, Cleaned my side table, TV stand, jewerly box everything (I couldn't because i'm highly allergic to dust) he took apart my bed and rebuild it so that it looks like a totally New bed! He went to K-Mart and Bought me $50 worth of those Plastic storage containers for my clothes, bibles (i collect them), notebooks, mathmatic science universe bookes i like to read, EVERYTHING!! It was SO Trading Spaces!! We threw EVERYTHIGN away that was not important, He drilled holes in the back of my TV stand so that all the cords and wires so go through them and not be messy and unorganized, now you can't even see them!! And he taught me all about my new TV, Its the BEST 27" TV they sell at Best Buy, so it has all these crazy features. I'm not really into all that electronic stuff so he taught me everything about it, it switches to wide-screen, and OMG its amazing, I am so happy!!!

WOW, I hope my Christmas doesn't sound Selfish or anything, It wasn't about the material stuff i got, It was about All of the time and effort and Love that was put into making everything so perfect. My boyfriend just bought himself a $300 cell phone and it was stolen, Then he raised the money for a new one, But instead bought my present. He sacrificed his beloved "electronics" to get me a nice electronic. It just means so much to me. I mean, he did NOT have to get me one so nice, but my previous tv was AWEFUL!! You know how the Simpsons are yellow? Well on my previous TV they were Orange and RED!!! That is Messed up!! The coloration was SOO OFF!!

I can't get over how materialistic this sounds but I came from Poverty. When I was little my parents couldn't afford christmas presents so churches and our indian reservation donated them. And we couldn't afford groceries so the church let us shop for free. We lived in a Bad "ghetto" neighborhood that was not safe. BUT then My mother went to nursing school and Got a really nice job at the best assistant living home in PA. In order to live there you have to pay a $200,000 down payment, and then $2,000 a month after that!!! WHOA! Only the wealthiest people retire there for there elderly years. She moved us into a private cul-de-sac, now works 3 jobs, often over 16 hours a day. And Gave us such a wonderful Life. SO I don't take any of this for granted. And I'm mostly excited that I saved up enough money to buy my mom everything she wanted for christmas, things she would have never bought herself because she is the most selfless person on earth!! I'm not telling you about my wonderful to christmas to rub it in your face or anything, Just to say that I can't believe it! I didn't do anything special to deserve it, I mean i dedicate my life to saving animals and by being vegan, But thats not a bother, its what I enjoy doing. Its just my lifestyle, its easy. Oh man, I am just so filled with happiness right now! I hope you all had a great christmas as well! or hannukah or whatever religion you are or arent!
