Lady in the window you are there everyday, a woman I do not know yet feel I can relate.
That window seems to me a frame to such beauty, yet like a piece of art, bound to that frame, never to part.
I see your loneliness and pain. That pensive look you try to feign, so those that pass will not see the empty shell that does remain.
Are you that numb? To never warm to anyone? To forever remain behind the glass in your window frame?
You seem so far away though only seperated by that pane of glass as you dwell upon your past.
Lady in the window, with a face so sad, won't you come out from behind that glass facade?
