im sorry all that happened to ya hun. mine sucked pretty bad till my fiance surprised me and came home early. made my x-mas the best then. i spent x-mas eve all alone cause everyone was gone, and i had to go to work at 11pm. so i was lonely and sad. when he came home i started crying i was so happy.   |

my friend had a bad one too, her grandma almost put her (my friend's) dogs in the pound cuz they were barking too much cuz she wouldn't let them out of the cold garage for a long time.  |

Thats too bad I hate to hear that, I just listened to the news and a family here in utah , well their house burned down. NOW thats the pits, having opened your christmas, go to visit family and wham, house burns down with everything in it. Now that, is a sad christmas.  |

go back to pep boys and tell them they caused these problems and if they dont fix them for free you will get them fixes elsewhere and send them the bill.. and never go there again...some places will purposely break things to keep you comming back and getting mor eof your money and business  |

I would most certainly be on my way to Pep Boys to give them a piece of my mind, I've had friends complain about them too, sometimes it's better to just ask around and get an independent mechanic than visiting these so called value chains that end up costing you more at the end. And I'm with Midnightly on this, it's better to have them compromise to pay the bill and have the job done elsewhere.  |

I'm so sorry this happened to you. As for me I NEVER take my car to any of those chain places for anything. They do everything in a hurry because the more cars they move through the more money they make...and they sacrifice quality in the process. I've known so many people's cars to be messed up by those folks who also are not well trained. Find a good local mechanic for all your auto work.  |
