The reindeers slid onto the rooftop
With Rudolph’s nose bright red,
To lead the way into the night
With Santa in his sled.
All dressed in red with cheeks so rosy
As he yells a HO HO HO,
His sled all full of goodies
His eyes are such a glow.
He shimmies down the chimney
With his sack held tight,
Full of toys for each girl and boy
Oh so quiet not to fright.
He fills under the Christmas tree
So beautiful and bright,
Then fills up on milk and cookies
As he sighs with such delight.
So many more houses for Santa to go
Before his night is through,
Back up the chimney Santa must climb
And round up his reindeer crew.
On Dasher, on Dancer,
On Prancer and Vixon,
On Comet, on Cupid,
On Donner and Blitzen..
Each reindeer in toe with Rudolph ahead
As they go right out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all
And to all a goodnight.
