Here in the UK, I've not been asked to participate in jury service yet. Fortunately, if it isn't convenient for me, I can opt out because I have a disabled child to care for.  |

I had jury duty in November. It really wasnt that bad, just boring. You have to sit there and listen to a lawyer for a while, and they ask you random questions. If you claim to be biased, you wont get picked. They have the defendant in the room with you, too. My case was about a man who assaulted a female cop. I told them I had a problem with a man hitting a woman, so I didnt get picked. -GreenClover  |
