1 1/3 cups flour

2 tablespoons chunky or smooth peanut butter

2/3 cup water

1 egg

1/3 cup crushed peanuts

Mix flour, water, and egg and form into ball. Flour a piece of waxed paper and place on board. Place dough ball on paper and roll out dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. This should take the shape of a rectangle about 12 inches long and 8 inches wide.

Gently spread peanut butter on rectangle. Now sprinkle lightly with crushed peanuts.

With great care lift up rectangle by the end of the wax paper so that you are "rolling up" the dough - continue to roll as tightly as possible until you have a nice peanut butter roll.

Once you have your sausage shape roll take a sharp knife and trim off both jagged ends. Now you can begin slicing your roll into 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch widths to form the cookies. You should get a couple of dozen Snoopy Slices!

Place on cookie sheet on side (flat side down) and place into a 350 degree oven for one hour. Allow cookies to remain while ovenis cooling. When cooled, remove from oven and store.
