Never left my children with anyone other than family. Still they even cry for me. I hate leaving my children anywhere, I would rather have them with me.Misty |

I remember when preschool started mom left (no not the first day...but begining of the year) I didn't want to go and I went running after my mother....the teacher grabbed me trying to pull me back and I grabbed onto one of the activity things. (You know those HUGE plastic puzzle pieces that could go together as blocks and such that were big back then?) And started screaming bloody murder and crying. LOL....Uh huh....ah the days of preschool.... |

I haven't had a baby sitter in ages and ages...Even though sometimes I wanna pull my hair out, I just can't bare them getting hurt on someone else's watch...they are probably over protected. I finally started letting my two older boys walk about a football field's distance down the road and up the drive of their bus pal's house...and do you know what? They call me, even if they are only allowed to play 45 minutes, they just can't bare being away, LOL...it's bad |

Quite natural, who hasn't been there? We stress regardless of who watches over our loved one. |

well, my kids arent babies, they are 11,8 and 6, but I still freak when I have to leave them with someone other than my mother in law or sis in law. I just worry that something will happen and I wont be there. Its a horrible feeling! |

My daughter is 6mos old and I'm about to have to return to work. I leave her with my mother whenever SHE's working from home, but that's rare... well, the first time I did that, she stayed at night at my mom's house. I had a horrible nightmare about one of my irresponsible friends -- let's call her Nette. Well in the dream, Nette had my baby on the handlebars of a 5 speed bicycle and was circling in the street with her in the rain, lol. I was trying to get to them but my other friend, Toy, was holding me there, talking about some BOY I could care less about. Then Nette fell off the bike and my baby fell in a puddle in the middle of the street. Then I saw a red van coming down the hill towards my baby and -- I WOKE UP SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER. I yelled at my husband "Give me the phone!" And called my mother and left a message DEMANDING to know the condition of my child... she was fine, of course. They'd been at church that morning and all was well. YES, I am a lunatic. I take my medication with pride... |
