A few days before christmas, nothing was going well for Santa. The new experimental toys were not performing as expected. The toy assembly line broke down. The elves went on strike. The reindeer came down with a virus that made the sleigh suspect. In the face of adversity Santa took a time out and went into the Santa Kitchen to get a cup of coffee to reflect and regroup on the situations. So deep in thought he fumbled the hot coffee pot on himself and it crashed, breaking all of his favorite Santa mugs on the shelf below. Mrs. Clause came in and in a very demanding way said "all right you are going to clean every bit of this mess up"! This was the last straw in the bale of more than Santa could bare. Just at that moment there was a tiny knock at the back kitchen door. In exasperation, Santa opened the door, and there stood the little, teeny, tiny, angel holding the huge christmas tree. The angel said "Hi Santa, I have your christmas tree." "Where would you like me to put it"? And that is why there is an angel sitting atop the christmas tree to this very day.
