i've been wanting to post this for awhile now... my cat stinks(well technically it's my roommates cat)

he is about 4 or 5 months old now and he stinks...he is very gassy we've changed the food 4-5 times... he refuses to eat the expensive vet food or the kitten food.. he would rather starve himself then eat the food if you can believe! we've tried "giving his system a rest" by taking food away for 24 hours(this is what the vet suggested doing) and we tried feeding him alot of soft food we've tried feeding him rice(what the pet books suggested) but he refuses to eat it(even rice mixed in with soft food!

when we got him he had the runs pretty badly he no longer has the runs but he isnt pooping how he should(lets just say when he uses the litter he could clear the room with the smell!)

and i mean you could just be holding and petting him and he will let a fart go he will be running around and you'll hear a lil "ffft" of him farting

can anyone help me figure out a way to help get rid of the smell! a person can only take soo much stink!
