1 1/2 pounds beef, pork or veal, cooked
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder or garlic salt
1 tablespoon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice (if desired)
Simmer all ingredients until done, about 1 hour. Add a litle water to keep it juicy. Serve on your favorite bun.
