SUPER SNACK BARS

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

3/4 cup margarine or butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

2 cups all purpose flour

1 cup whole wheat flake cereal, slightly crushed

1 cup chopped pecans

2/3 cup candy-coated chocolate candies

3/4 cup quick cooking oats

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup candy coated chocolate candies

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugars, margarine, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until well blended. Stir in flour, cereal, 3/4 cup of the pecans, 2/3 cup candies, the oats, baking soda, baking powder and salt.

Spread in ungreased rectangular pan, 13 by 9 by 2 inches. Sprinkle with remaining pecans and 1/3 cup candies. Bake until golden brown, 35 to 40 minutes, cool. Cut into 2 inch by 1 1/3 inch bars.
