we are either thinking about add or adhd, he had alot of signs of it and or he has been sexually abused by who that is all. thank you keth  |

My son has ADHD and the school said he displayed some inappropriate sexual behavior. What is yours doing? Mine kissed a girl and hugged a boy. God forbid he be a loving child!! But he does talk about butts alot!  |

I think all children around this age exhibit a certain amount of sexual behaviour, i.e. kissing, hugging, laughing about bums and well the other bits n pieces and playfully grabbing eachother. I think its just natural curiosity. Mine is going through the same thing right now, he's six. My older son went through the same thing about the same age. You would have to define what you mean by abnormal sexual behaviour. They typically stop after a period of time when they realize it isn't appropriate behaviour, usually by 7 or 8. Perhaps a chat with your GP will help settle matters.  |

And i think it is also important to remember that young kids explore each others bodies that could be interpretted as a sexual act that really isn't. hey like to lie around naked with each other and explore their btis and bobs. As long as both parties are ok with it then there isn't a problem. There is only a problem when they start doing it agaisnt the other persons will. *hugs* ghost-Chick  |
