that sucks. My bf is a marine technician too, but he is flat chat at the moment ... being summer here and coming up to holidays. But they are always busy and always in demand, we live close the beach so that could be why. Best of luck to you   |

Hey anytime. Thats what we are here for is support of each other. I know about money woes. Lateley the company has cut back on personnel, hours per week and all. They have about quit buying supplies because as they put it "The buyers are more concerned about Christmas than they are about pork or Bbq." same trend each year. And then at payraise time the nickel and dime us to death and say "well we hit a slump during the holidays and we didnt make any money." But like you I have gotten all my shopping done.  |

Im sorry you got laid off :0( On the bright side global warming is kicking in so soon there wont be a winter, then you can get your job back. Unfortunatly after that there wont be an earth..but then you wont need a job!  |

It always feels good to talk about it. My husbands work lays everyone off for two weeks beginning the week of christmas. They really suck but like you I have most of my shopping done. Thank God i'm working lol. Tc  |

thank you all for your replies. I hate to share my "woes" but it felt better to do so. and to answer your question admin, i been working 6 days a week, 10 hours a day from sept to beging of dec. its the haul-out and winterize period durring that time in my line of work, its VERY busy and hectic then. I am so tired when i get home i dont have time for the computor. bye all  |
