I love sushi. It's good and it's healthy. A lot of people think that all sushi is raw fish but it's not. Some of the fish are cooked and some have veggies. Every now and then, my hubby and I go to a place called Sushi Land for lunch because it's so cheap and filling.   |

I eat all kinds of sushi. It's really good. Yeah, a lot of people hate it, just because it's fish, but if you get over that and just try it, you'll be surprised. I can get it for really cheap about a block from my house.  |

It depends on the seaweed/ rice ratio. i gagged on it once as the seaweed taste was too much for me. Sashimi i believe is raw fish. Ghost-Chick  |

Sashimi is raw fish without the rice base. Sushi can be with or without raw fish, but some Sushi comes with rice on the bottom and a slice of raw fish on the top. Sashimi is just big slices of raw fish by itself. ..Hipchik |

Merc, it is always a sushi kind of day, LOL! I love sushi. Sashimi is not a favourite of mine. I like to have a rice roll or base around it. I'm not too fond of hand rolls either because for some reason, the seaweed always seems really hard to chew. Dragon rolls and spicy tuna rolls are my favourites. I like lots of wasabi, too; so much so that it feels like my nose hairs are burning off  |

I ate some wasabi by accident one time....scared the bejesus out of me, lol. I love sushi, though. I have had lots of the vegetarian kinds as well as cooked fish, crab, and eel. Eel is by far the best. I have not worked up to the raw stuff yet, though, but I'm planning on it.  |
