A few drinks really are not enough to hurt the baby..you would have to pretty much drink throughout the preganancy to have any *real* risk to the baby. Nothing is 100%, but I'm sure that everything is fine!! I went out drinking one night before I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter and she is healthy and perfect in every way.. |

You and your baby will be fine. No more drinking though. But you already said you stopped. Your baby will be fine, and I hope your husband supports your descision. Have faith, your child will be okay. |

I had drank while I was pregnant but didn't know yet. I am currently 20 weeks. I've heard that after like 10 weeks it's a less chance oflosinghte baby. Also if you are scared it may have disablities becuase you drank then talk to your doctor. My Doctor said they can do tests for that stuff. ANd it's better to do it while you still have the choice to keep it or not. |

Also I worried at frist I would lose my baby. I realized though that I shouldn't stress myself over it though cuz then I would lose it. |

Yes your docotr can do tests to see if the child has a disabilty i think you have to be in your second trimester though. You need to relax and not stress yourself out. It is bad to drink alcohol as we don't know how much is bad for your baby but in saying that there are lots of women who have done that whose babies turn out fine and even if your baby is disabled i am sure you will learn to love it becuase those kids can be amazing Take care and try not to stress.. you are doing everythign right now Ghost-chcik |

My doctor actually told me it was okay to have a glass of wine or a drink here and there....just adviced not to do it in public or on any type of regular basis. Many times miscarriages happen to prepare your body for pregnancy... kind of like a practice run... and later pregnancies are just fine. I know it's hard not to, every expectant mother worries to some degree, but try to keep it to a minimum, it's not good for you OR the baby |

I pray that your baby will be okay. I have several friends who drank during the beginning stages of the pregnancy, and their babies have grown up perfectly normal. I even have one friend who did not know she was pregnant until month 7 (she resumed a light flow period), partied all the while, and her baby is now 5 years old and normal. I certainly do NOT condone drinking or drugs while pregnant, but I'm sure that a few times while you were none the wiser is not going to do much |

I was 12 weeks preg and lost my baby but thats because I wasnt physically ready for a baby. I've had a misscarrige before that one and I was terrified. But only God really knows, do the right things and you and your baby will be ok. |

So sorry to hear that your husband don't want the baby I was never a drinker but I had one drink and then found out that I was pregnant like a week later. I felt so bad but I had no clue. My baby turned out just fine. I did have her at 31 weeks but that was due to pre-eclampsia. (high blood pressure during pregnancy) I would always worry that something could be wrong but I think most mothers think that when they are pregnant. |
