I believe it could be compared to the "Light" of Christ, which nothing can compare to. I think of the phrase I hear often, "lone and dreary world". I believe that leaving this state of our existance will indeed be taking us to a brighter, much better place, void of pain, suffering and turmoil.  |

Nowhere in the Bible does it talk of a tunnel. Death is when the soul is seperated from the Body, it may appear that they are dead, but they are not. This vision tunnel can be produce by a satan or a demon, very likely that it is.  |

KJ, the tunnel that people speak of in near death experiences is simply a connection between the earth and the next world . This is just a doorway between the two worlds that God has created for us to get from HERE to THERE and just simply "IS"! "Demons and devils" have nothing whatsoever to do with it. The earth is known as "the dark planet" and so when someone is having an OBE or an NDE they will describe finding themselves in a tunnel of darkness and a loud noise, but as they come closer to "heaven" they find that the darkness turns into light and they are many times met by a loving spirit and feel very loved and cared for. Some people will describe other experiences than this , but what I have told you here seems to be what most people see, although some say they do not experience any of these things. Whether this tunnel is in the Bible or not makes no difference , because as I have told you before KJ, ALL of God's vast knowledge is NOT in the Bible! If you totally believe that everything we need to know is in the Bible, then you will not learn many things that we need to know in order to grow spiritually! We are in this world to learn and when we limit our beliefs, then we are handicapped when we get into the other world, because what we don't learn here, then spirit says we will be required to learn in the next world.  |
