Yeah, back when I was a kid, every house gave out candy or homemade snacks like popcorn balls or candy apples and such. Tonight I took my kids trick or treating and it was maybe only 1 out of every 15 houses were even participating. I think most people have lost interest in it because of all of the wierdos these days..... |

That was the same here last year!! Even in my grandma's neighborhood where u gotta literally wait in line to get candy...it was DEAD there!! Youd walk outside n u could hear a pin drop out there!! It was weird....gave me that weird errie feeling like a ghost town would give you. |

Most people here celebrated Halloween yesterday. We didnt hand out candy though cause we went to a costume party at a local bar/resturaunt... Neither my husband or I won the contest though, but we had a lot of fun. Our area was pretty busy with trick or treaters when we left though, so I assume it went well here *hugs* |
