Out of curiousity if I had said this would I have been funny?

Okay during first period while channel one was on there was a movie preview I forgot what the movie was, but it was a preview to a movie. Then this guy said to the teacher.

"Ma'am I know bad movies when I see them, because my uncle is George Clooney."

Then this other guy said.

"Yeah, I know what you mean my father is Edgar Hoover."

Then would it have been funny if I were to have this?

"Yeah, I know what you guys mean, my great grandmother is Martha Stewart."

In real life this guy who everyone hates because he is so like...ugh an unbearable jerk snob, killed it by saying.

"Yeah my dad is Sammy Romeo (I edited the last name) because my last name is Romeo."

Everyone booed him. LOL

So would it have been funny if I were to have said that Martha Stewart line?

I came up with that line 6 hours after the happening. I can't think of a good line on the spot. I can come up with good lines in a couple of hours or days, but not in couple of seconds or minutes. I'm one of those people who go "Ah man, I should have said that!", and why I'm bad at Impromptu, you know that theatre excercise when you have to think on your feet. LOL
