Red tails are neat birds. I watched a special on National Geographic on a red tail that lived in New York City's central park. Good info, Mike. Write on.... |

We have red-tailed hawks here. I always see them flying around near my old school. Since there's an open field nearby, the hawks are always hunting there. Just a few days ago, I saw about 7 red-tailed hawks circling in that area as I was heading home from school. I've also seen peregrine falcons around here too. I've seen one in my backyard, another sitting on a nearby house, and one flying along side our car. I was kinda neat. ^_^ |

I have two Perrigrine Falcons that frequent my backyard.....and we live in the city...figure that one out....scared the bejeepers out of me the first time I went outside...so now I'm very careful before putting out my dog....I check to make sure they aren't there..and of course I do put out chicken meat for them to eat..... |

Which animals safety are you concerned for, the falcons or that of your dogs? I would think most dogs would be more than a match for a couple falcons. |
