Spacie's Interview Halloween Special...Trick or Treat? (you decide)

Greetings to you, my friends. I am that one, some of you may know as "Kronk," standing in for your regular "mistress of ceremonies," SpaceCase.


Fear not...Everything is cool with our beloved SpaceCase and she will return for the next interview. Seems that she and today's guest are just a bit "too" close to conduct an objective interview.....SpaceCase felt that I would have no such
inhibitions..and of course, I don't..*wink*

(Tell you what, for propriety's sake and in the interest of preserving air quality, I'll just keep my shoes on. This is, afterall, the "festival of winter nights" (Halloween) and not the "festival of bad cheese." Ewwwwww..That would have been a cruel and unusual trick, indeed. Now for the "treat."

She's witty, warm, compassionate and definitely one of my favorite USM'rs. I've looked into her eyes and liked what I saw in there. (This lady is is the only member that I've ever met in person. A special

WHO'S THAT GIRL??? How about giving the readers a mental image to go with your words? Name, eye color, height, shoe-size, mouth, bust, waist, hips..Oooops...hehe..Ahem..Go ahead, lady. You know what I mean.


"Kronk!! Get out, LOL!! You're too much. You already know what I look like. The day after having a baby, of course, LOL... A train wreck!! Well, for the rest of you'ns ;) My name is Stacie, but my friends call me Spacie ;) I'm 5' 2 ½" with brown eyes and olive skin and oh my Gawd...Becky, look at her butt, it's so big! I think that would apply, LOL"

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO USM AND WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO BECOME A USMER?


"I had saved a story from USM in my favorites and one day I started browsing around and noticed I could join this place that apparently showcased writing and friendship. The story actually had a picture on it, I had looked up the F5 tornado that hit Jarrell, TX in 1997 because my brother had just graduated there the week before it hit and my sister lost several classmates to it's monstrous power. Well this story on USM had a picture of that tornado that if turned sideways looked like Jesus, so I printed out the picture and put the story in my favorites, Unfortunately I don't have the same computer anymore and don't know how to find that story, .but I bet it was one of the only ones with a picture on it!! I've stayed because of the camaraderie with a few USMers that have
become like family to me, and USM is like the world's greatest filing cabinet for my stuff."


IF THERE WAS ONE THING YOU WANT USMERS TO KNOW ABOUT YOU, WHAT WOULD IT BE?


"I'm kinda windy..a wordy bird :P Seriously? I'm a mother of four precocious but precious boys, and my greatest passions in life revolve around them, music and writing. I make friends easy. I also love adventures."

Making it back-in is "always" an adventure.)


DO YOU HAVE A SECRET MISSION HERE AT USM?


"I wanna interview everyone here and accumulate enough decent poems to publish a book of such. To be a friend indeed to those in need."

"It just fits...*snicker-snort*"

IF YOU COULD MEET ANY USMER, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?


"I want to meet Evelyn, my dear friend American Girl! We talk on the phone at least once a week and I love her like a big sis! I would also like to meet Moonie and jam out with her and I'd like to personally hug Ginger and George's neck for making this site and keeping it going! It has made a difference in my life and I'm so grateful we have this place to escape to. Beats a bar any day

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SEASON?


"Springtime in Texas. All the blooming flowers and trees. Nice. Temps in the 70's-80's.. Rainstorms, the smell of fresh cut grass and Summertime in Texas: Cooling off in a sparkling stream, babies laughing in the sprinklers, tomatoes and Fall in Texas: A good mix of everything and the big ol' bright harvest moon."

WHOM DO YOU MOST LOOK UP TO?


"Jesus, I don't know how He did it, but He did and I try to be more like Him, even though I fall so short everyday."


WHAT IS YOUR DREAM CAR?


"An ol' '67 convertible mustang. Turquoise sheen, or an ol' 70's model Jeep Cherokee paddy wagon type with the side panels and all. I think that's the brand. The Jeep goes along with my Smokey Mountain Tennessee dreams ;)"

"The only music genre I don't care that much for is rap/hip hop and I even like some of it! My favorite musicians are Willie Nelson, Allison Kraus, James Taylor, Tom Petty, The Beattles, The Eagles, Lynard Skynard, Patsy Cline, Lucinda Williams, Billie Holiday, and most recent additions Maroon 5 and Los Lonely Boys!"

"Las Vegas, Charmed, CSI Miami, CSI, Lost and reality shows like Survivor, Big Brother, and American Idol, which ever one is on at the time. I've grown bored of the Bachelor, grossed out by Fear Factor and never got into the Apprentice or others. I love Prime Time live, 20/20, BBC News, Nightline, Charlie Rose and other news programs too, I'm a news junkie in every form it comes in!"

"Well I do a lot of laundry and wash a lot of dishes, vacuum floors, wipe down counters, walls, and everything else my goblins get their grubby hands on, and when I am not changing a diaper or making a meal or mending a wound or helping with homework, I am writing or playing my guitar and singing, or making up
a new song, or fiddling with some craft. Right now it's bracelets for family Christmas gifts. I love to create new dishes for dinner/desserts. J"

"Depends on the season. I drink more coffee when it's cold and more tea when it's hot."


WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR?


"Blue Bell had a new one out this summer, It was a Mexican chocolate and vanilla, it was a seasonal flavor called Dos Amigos , I haven't had any since. The chocolate had a sensual hint of cinnamon. YUM! I don't much indulge in ice cream because my hubby usually beats me to it."


WHEN I SAY, 'PERFECT SALAD', WHAT COMES TO MIND?


"Lunch: a bed of baby romaine, tomatoes, cheddar cheese chunks, shredded ham, croutons and Wishbone's Robusto Italian dressing and some salt and cracked pepper. If I'm making it for a special romantic dinner for hubby and I, I add black olives, split boiled eggs and diced avocado."


ARE YOU MILD OR WILD??


"I'm pretty wild after a few drinks hit the bloodstream. That's why I tend to avoid alcohol. Most would say I'm spontaneous and wild sober, so yeh!"

WHY DO YOU SAY THAT?


"My sun sign is Leo and my Chinese Astrological sign is Fire Dragon, I think it's in my make-up, plus I have Irish, Cherokee, and Scottish blood tearin’ through my veins. Like I said, it's in my make-up."

WHAT MAKES YOUR WORLD SPIN 'ROUND?


"My family, close friends, USM, my music and my housework."


IF YOU COULD CHANGE THE WORLD, HOW WOULD YOU CHANGE IT?


"Demand that the weathiest 1% of the world donate 5% of their fiscal earnings
to revolutionize third-world countries....Demand equal, free education for
all children..Demand that 2% of each big business's profits go into maintaining
the cities and rural areas nearest them and eliminating the electoral college
and let each Americans choose their president, not state numbers. Let the
Reservations open their casinos. Lots more things, but I wanna still be known as
SpaceCase, not Space Hog ;) Ciao!!"

(Well folks.. There you have it. The lady exposed, laid bare and stripped for all to see. I for one enjoyed watching her squirm 'neath the inquisitor's onslaught.....owch,..OWCH!...Don't do that!!!...WHAT??? I'm not done yet! Get your hands off me!....Hey! AHHHHHHHH!!!! HELP!!!....... DUCKY!!!....! Tell these people who I am...SpaaaaaaaceCase..............)

Yeh, that’s just my dirty ol’ daddy…don’t mind him, he was raised in a barn ;) He is really very lovable and holds a special place in my heart J I have a set of shark jaws he cured after catching, it sits on my nightstand next to my ‘moongirl’ lamp…If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading his poetry, I highly recommend it. J
